Learn information on what you can do to help your child in their recovery, resources on how to do it, and the support to help you follow through.

Are you constantly negotiating or arguing with your child to eat more?

Discussion about food makes your child angry and their refusal to eat in turn makes you angry. Sometimes they shut down completely and refuse to eat all together. You’ve found yourself getting them special food just so they will eat something, but they still aren’t eating enough, and family meals are dreadful. Your child still refuses to eat the same foods as the rest of the family more than 3x/week, and it has been over 3 months since you have eaten out with your child?

It feels like you are losing your child because they spend most of their time isolated in their room and they aren’t the happy, carefree kid you once had. They have been spending less time with friends and avoiding social gatherings with food. The little interactions you do have with them are unpleasant because they are irritable and it seems like everything you do makes them upset.  You aren’t sure what to say because you are worried you’ll make things worse, but you are desperate to help them.

If this is happening then chances are you feel like your child is self destructing and your family is falling apart. It takes you longer than 30 minutes to fall asleep because your concern for your child keeps you up at night, and you’d do anything to help them, but you don’t know what to do.  You ask yourself how much longer this can continue and have even considered whether they need to go to an eating disorder program to get the help they need.

One of the hardest things for a parent to endure is watching their child suffer, especially when they feel helpless and don’t know what they can do about it.

The Feeding Recovery Support Group takes you from helpless to hopeful in your child’s recovery!

Although it feels like you are battling your child, the fight is with their eating disorder.

Your child is a victim of the eating disorder, but you can help them to be the victor.

If you have never had a child with an eating disorder, it’s natural to be unprepared and not know how to handle it.  Without the knowledge, confidence or support it’s like going into battle without training, skill or armor so the eating disorder (ED) is going to beat you down. You need guidance, encouragement and refuge to stand up to and endure the battle with the ED and your child needs you to help them fight the battle because it’s unlikely they will win the war on their own.

Most people think that their child has to choose recovery for themselves, but the truth is that they can’t make that choice for themselves with a malnourished and fear filled brain so they need their parents to choose it for them

If allowed to remain unaddressed or even partially addressed, the ED will remain the victor.  Your child’s suffering will be prolonged and their mental, emotional and physical health will worsen leading to more complications, decreased rate of recovery, potentially needing a higher level of care (eating disorder program) and derailing their future plans.

The cold, hard truth is that your child is at war with an illness that has the highest mortality rate of any psychiatric disorder and their life is at stake. The ED is a fierce opponent and won’t go down easy.  It takes an army.  You don’t want to go fight it alone, and you don’t have to.

There are excellent resources available from national, non profit eating disorder programs and books, but if you are looking for a community of other parents facing the same difficult circumstances and personal support to lift you up, the FeEDing Recovery Family Support Group is for you.

My exclusive recipe to repair your child’s relationship with food so that they can eat all foods freely and joyfully again

Through the years, I’ve seen so many parents struggle with knowing how to address their child’s eating disorder, and persevering through the daily battle to full recovery because they are worn down mentally and emotionally and do not have the support they need. It makes it hard for them to continue the very hard and important work of battling their child’s eating disorder.  They would do anything to help their child, but they don’t know what to do or where to turn. They continue to feel helpless and hopeless, their child continues to struggle and the family remains torn apart.

If you don’t have the support and guidance you need, you’ll continue to battle with your child and they will continue to struggle. Which means they might never break free from the eating disorder and return to the child you once knew.

It’s for that reason that I want to make sure that as many parents as possible get access to this support group so I can help them help their child (even faster).

You can join me and other parents like you in the FeEding Recovery Support Group for just $375 today!

So tell me…are you in?

It’s a transformation that frees your child from the control of the eating disorder which is keeping them stuck and struggling.

The longer your child struggles with an eating disorder the lower the likelihood of full recovery.  Eating disorders rarely resolve on their own, especially in adolescence because the brain is less mature.  In fact, if not fully addressed, they often continue to get worse and could progress to needing an eating disorder program.  Eating disorder treatment programs cost more than $1500/day. In light of that, the support group is a small investment that could pay huge dividends by avoiding a higher level of care.

And when you weigh the investment against what it will do for your child and their future, it’s an easy choice.

Maybe you’re thinking you don’t have the time.  The course will take a time commitment, but think about all of the time you devote to your family or other things in your life.  Is there a better use of your time than to dedicate it to ensuring your child is healthy and happy?  All types of treatment require time.  If you put in the time now, it could mean that less time will be needed for treatment down the road.  There will always be things that you have going on that treatment will interfere with.  There will never be a convenient time, so why wait?

The time is now.

But CHOOSE quickly because this registration period and discounted price won’t be available forever…

Your most common questions, answered:

Have a question you need answered before registering for the Feeding Recovery Family Support Group?

Below is a list of the most common questions I’ve been asked.  If for some reason you don’t see your question, you can email my support team at info@LCNutritionOmaha.com so we can help you.

Q: What makes FR Support Group different from other support groups?

A: The Feeding Recovery Family Support Group is more personal, supportive and informative than the support groups offered by national eating disorder organizations or programs.  Often those groups have several participants that differ week to week, there is seldom an educational component or curriculum, and there isn’t always an experienced professional leading the group. The Feeding Recovery Family Support Group provides continuity by having a small group of individuals that are the same throughout the 10 week session, a private Facebook group that offers a sense of community with other parents that are or have been in your situation, and a curriculum based on professional experience and best treatment practices that covers the essential nutrition knowledge as well as the parenting, communication, coping skills that you need to be the parent your child needs.

Q: How much time with the Group take?

A: There will be an hour long, virtual group each week along with reading material, activities and additional training available occasionally. As with anything, you can put as much or as little time in as you want, but know that you’ll get out what you put in so it is worth the time investment.  This support group is going to help you spend less time arguing with your child or worrying about them so you have more time to care for them and yourself.  It might take close to the same amount of time as reading a book, but offers the support and personal guidance you need to actually create change.

Q: What if it ends up not being for me?

A: You can have a peace of mind when you invest with our 30 Day 100% satisfaction guarantee. Email us anytime within the first 30 days, and we will give you a 100% refund! So if there is even a slight chance you think this could help you, you should enroll today because you don’t have to guess.  You can try it out and see for yourself if it is right for you!

Q: Can my husband or family go through the program and attend groups with me?

A: Yes, absolutely!  The more support the better.  However, each family will just receive one link since your family will be associated with just one account so you will have to attend from the same location.

Q: When will the next support group start?

A: There are only 3 sessions per year. My question for you is when is the right time? Do you know?  If you don’t know, how long have you been putting off getting the support you need to address your child’s eating disorder head on, and using “Now isn’t the time” as the reason? How much longer are you willing to put it off? Maybe you have been investing a lot into getting them the treatment they need, but have neglected investing in getting the support you need. The time is never perfect, but getting the help you need will make all the difference in your child’s recovery. Addressing their eating disorder effectively sooner will support them recovering sooner and ultimately save time dealing with the eating disorder.  And that is the choice you have to make right now.  Are you going to continue fighting your child’s eating disorder on your own without guidance or support waiting for a day which never comes, or are you going to prioritize yourself and role in their recovery and make it happen?  If not now, when?  If there is NO way for you to participate in the current session, but you would like to be notified when the next 10 week session starts, click here to be placed on the waiting list for next session to open enrollment.

DISCLAIMER: This support group makes no claims or guarantees about your child’s recovery.  Everyone’s recovery journey is different.  Some have more challenges than others and some last longer than others.  Additionally, what you get out of the group is dependent on you.  The more you put into the groups (prioritizing attending in person where you have access to asking individualized questions, completing activities/worksheets, engaging in the online community), the more you will get out.
